liking the really interesting architecture by this firm of French architects. In particular there is an enjoyable use of materials and styles on offer. This doorway caught my eye for its use of new material in a pattern that takes references from the architecture around it but doesn't stylistically aim to be a slave to it. It looks as though it enjoys the shapes that it is making.

computer meets organic hand made form and creates something quite beautiful! would like one. Don't know how it pours, which is one of the pre-requisites were i am concerned and hope that the designer has not overlooked one of the necessary fundamental functions.

nendo | works : thin black table
love this table / drawing of a table/ for its graphic quality. here's what designers nendo have to say about itthin black tabletable
2011.04for Cappellini
A side table produced by Cappellini, the thin black table originated as part of the ‘thin black lines’ collection, organized by Phillips de Pury and shown in London at the Saatchi Gallery in autumn 2010. We kept the shape of the table, but shrank it to an easily usable size. This allowed us to trim the 10mm thick steel plates to all of 6mm, creating a table that looks like a sketch drawn in midair, and developing our original design concept even more vividly than before.
